Maharashtra Medical Research Society is a public charitable Trust registered under the societies Registration Act, (1860) bearing registration no Maharashtra /3215/ Pune.Registered under the Bombay public trust Act 1950 bearing registration No F 4746 Having its Registered office at 778, Shivaji Nagar near Kamala Nehru Park Pune 411004.Maharashtra Medical Research Society is registered under 12A of the Income Tax Act.

Maharashtra Medical Research Society is eligible to receive Donations under 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Our Training

Members of Institutional Ethics Committee receive training annually as per Standard Operating Procedures of Institutional Ethics Committee.
Training is based on following Regulations and Guidelines.

Our Training

The aims and Objectives of the Society

  • To undertake, execute, organise, conduct, promote, assist, aid, take up and provide basic and applied scientific research in the field of medicine and surgery.
  • To ascertain the causes of symptoms of various types and cases of ailments, disorders, disabilities, deformities, illnesses and different diseases, the methods of diagnosis and the treatment, either curative or preventive

  • To develop and invent new medicines, methods, therapeutic procedures, techniques, instruments and appliances required for diagnostic and treatment of all types of ailments, disorders, disabilities, deformities illnesses and diseases.
  • In order to achieve the above objects to cooperate with other institutions, societies, trusts having similar objects.

  • To hold, conduct, organise, attend, participate in meetings, seminars, discussions, conferences, demonstrations and exhibitions, refresher courses, lectures in order to update information on research done or conducted, knowledge obtained or generated and the results achieved either by the society or by others in the various medical fields and also for spread of scientific knowledge.

  • To promote ,develop, encourage, improve, exchange of scientific knowledge as well as technical cooperation between research institutions having similar or identical objects and interests.

  • To give advice on, or to print and publish materials to disseminate information regarding conclusions drawn by researchers in their fields so as to benefit other research institutions and public at large.
  • To publish, exhibit,  print, circulate, subscribe and support books, periodicals, brochures, pamphlets, posters, leaflets, charts,  diagrams or other matters, setting forth dealing with or relating to,  medical scientific research or investigations and diagnosis and treatment of various kinds of ailments,  disorders, disabilities, deformalities, illness & diseases.
  • To provide, institute and award scholarship, fellowships, stipends, prizes, remuneration and other monetary support of similar nature to research students and research scholars on such terms and conditions as the Board of Trustees may find desirable for the purpose of undertaking scientific research in the areas of concerned interest to the society.
  • To acquire, purchase, hire, maintain or improve by alteration, research laboratories and related facilities and to equip them with scientific instruments and appliances and other amenities considered necessary for the proper fulfillment of the objects of the society.
  • To take on hire/lease building, equipment and other related medical facilities of any medical institutions and to pay the necessary remuneration charges or fees for utilizing the above named facilities.
  • To do all acts, matters and things as are incidental or conductive to the attainment the above aims and objectives in the areas of concerned interest of the society or any one or more.
